TACO Blog Kick-off
The time has come.
I have prolonged it long enough. I have been avoiding eye contact with my business partner for weeks now, since my blog is still only an idea, an item on my New Year’s resolution list (you know, the one which never gets to be done).
But not anymore, here I am and WELCOME EVERYBODY to our blog.
If writing a blog is such a big effort to you, then why would you do it anyway? You may rightly ask.
Here is the thing. It is not about the writing. I like writing and talking even more so (ask my husband), but what scared me is the comment section. I have read some blogs and along with them countless comments, too. Some of them were shocking or just sheer cruel. It seemed to me that people have no boundaries, no decency online. And then my inner voice started to get louder: Am I ready to be publicly judged? Is my writing worth to be read? Will everyone start criticizing me?
All right – I thought – doubts are overwhelming, so let’s start with the technical aspect of blogging. My fear will just go away.
I have read articles, blogs, and forums, watched videos about everything related to blogging and I figured, I don’t need to be perfect, I don’t need to offer solution for world hunger or be a Pulitzer Prize winning author, I just need to be honest. Honest with my mistakes, with my flaws and welcome all comments, good or bad.
So, here I am now welcoming all of you on our blog where I share our sometimes painful, sometimes funny experiences of young entrepreneurs. You may find useful tips or just have a nice read next to your coffee.
